WHAT IS IT?
Emotional Therapeutic Counselling (ETC) is a form of therapeutic counselling for those who are specifically suffering from emotional turmoil, whether brought on by a crisis, a long term situation, persistent unhappiness, depression, apathy of difficulties in relating to others.
ETC holds the belief that emotional wellbeing is the key to a contented, fulfilling life. Its aim is to bring clients to a wholeness of mind, body and spirit.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
A key aspect of Emotional Therapeutic Counselling is the range of techniques used by a Counsellor to assist the client both to recognise and release painful feelings in an appropriate manner, by working with the emotions rather than the mind.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
This will very much depend on the client’s situation and emotional issues. A free consultation is always available to assess your needs. Counselling goes at a client’s pace and the number of sessions will vary accordingly.
