K-Laser Therapy

WHAT IS IT?

K-Laser is a non surgical, drug free treatment laser therapy.

K-Laser Therapy is suitable for any age group, any skin tone, and any body size. From athletes to infirm elderly people, from acute injuries to chronic conditions. The K-Laser dynamic therapy protocols enhance tissue bio-stimulation, analgesia, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects. It penetrates laser energy deep into musculoskeletal tissues and accelerates cell metabolism by increasing blood flow, nutrients, cell division and excretion of waste products. As a result skin, tendons, ligaments and muscles are repaired faster with less inflammation, scarring and pain.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

K-Laser targets damaged tissue with specific wavelengths of light that have been found to interact with tissue and accelerate the healing process. Much like photosynthesis in plants, light energy passes through the skin, into the cell membrane, initiating a process called photobiostimulation. This process enhances the body’s natural regenerative functions, as well as stimulating the release of endorphins’ and collagen. It may eventually even normalise damaged or injured tissue. The result: Accelerated wound healing, as well as reduced pain, stiffness, swelling, and spasms. As the injured area returns to normal, function is restored, so patients may take their life back and resume their favourite hobbies and activities.

HOW WILL I FEEL DURING AND AFTER THE TREATMENT?

There is little or no sensation during treatment. Occasionally one feels a mild, soothing warmth or tingling. Areas of pain or inflammation may be sensitive briefly before pain reduction. Occasionally some old injuries or pain syndromes may feel aggravated for a few days, as the healing response is more active after treatment.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

This depends on the nature of the condition being treated. For some acute conditions four to six treatments may be sufficient. Those of a more chronic nature may require six to twelve (or more) treatments. Conditions such as severe arthritis may require ongoing periodic care to control pain.

WHAT CAN BE TREATED?

Trusted since 2002, laser therapy induces a healing effect within the body, promoting natural pain relief, enhanced tissue repair, and improved circulation. A variety of conditions can be treated including:-Diabetic Neuralgia
